PictMatch is so simple to use that you may think it does not need to have a tutorial - but it has one. PictMatch on-line manual includes a tutorial with some examples that will help you to get better results from the software. A Tutorial Folder is created during program installation, with some sample files that have many degrees of similarities. They are used by the program tutorial to show many situations that happen in a real search, as well as configuration tips to get customized results. With many illustrations, the tutorial teaches step by step how to select the folders with the files to be compared, how to set the desired kind of comparison, how to start detecting the matches and how to handle them properly. You will learn how to setup the program to discard color when detecting matches, how to relax the similarity tolerances (to get more matches) and so on. To see the tutorial, just click the Tutorial shortcut that appears in the start menu, together with the program shortcut, just after program installation. |
